Quatre Molins

Truly deserving of its Michelin star, didn’t expect a restaurant of this quality in a small village. All the different flavours were on point and came together nicely, very creative use of ingredient. The mojito dessert creation was amazing to watch. The add on of the award winning tuna dish was okay, some of their other dishes were better IMO, maybe I had too much expectation. Overall an enjoyable experience.

A really great experience, a gastronomic restaurant/bistro with a true creative and modern cooking. The courses were really good and there’s plenty enough at the end of the menu. The really creative cooking combined altogether with a great wine card, and a quite relaxed atmosphere makes it a must go to in the region. This Michelin star is very well deserved, bravo !

Since I was there the First Time around 2018 maybe I was thinking that Rafa is cooking on a 2 Star Michelin Level for very reasonable prices and i like his ideas and attitude very much. So, as a repeater I can say I am not surprised for his now 3 year repetitive Michelin Star and that this is more than deserved. Prices of course had to raise over time but still the price value relation is very very good. But you must have acquired gourmet tastes of course to be able to fully enjoy and understand all the ideas. But if you are open minded and ready to experience new combinations and tastes and put yourself on a sensoric journey this is a fantastic place. My recommendation: take the great menu and more important allow yourself one of the wine Degustation packages to make you experience even better, the combination of food and wine is well selected and supports each other in surprising ways. Very nice and competent service team. Tip : you can buy some of the wines so ask If you like something. I will Repeat for sure again!

Great food and outstanding service! The team is very young and the chef, despite having a Michelin star and having won several prizes, seems to be just one more of the team, cleaning the drawers, serving bread/wine, preparing dishes, etc. The food is amazing, I specially enjoyed the sea anemone ravioli, the pigeon ceviche, and the special tuna dish (for which Berasategui gave them the first prize with max amount of points). To criticize a bit: the restaurant is a bit small, it fits at most 30 people, so it seems like the success might be catching up with them (it almost looks like there's more people workung than eating). Also, I think that there are a few components of some dishes that are on the salty side, a bit too salty for my taste. Despite this, the combination with the other elements was correct, and I can't do anything but strongly recommend this restaurant.

Second time dining at Quatre Molins! Wow! One of those memorable meals that you wish you could take all of your friends to, to share the experience. Service matches the food! Charming and precise. All dishes were unable to be faulted! Truffle season is a great time to visit, as the team utilise this precious ingredient to bring out its best. Too much food and great local wines ended in me not eating for the rest of the day! One of the best and worth travelling to Cornudella to experience, Moltes Gràciesteam equip Quatre Molins!!!!
